As part of the Local Plan, the SELPA determines where the public school special education services will be located. These services are all provided at no cost to families, as determined by the IEP team. Visit the SELPA website for information on specific school services.

Children with identified delays may qualify for public preschool for ages 3 to 5. Children may be referred by the regional center (or parent-referred) to their local school district as early as 30 months of age for an assessment of their child. The type of assessment will depend on the child’s development (eg. School Psychologist, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Infant Specialist).
