Bilingual Service Navigation and Advocacy Specialist

Adriana joined the Autism Society Ventura County team as a Bilingual Service Navigation & Advocacy Specialist, bringing a background in early childhood education and school counseling. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies and recently completed her master’s degree in School Counseling. As a first-generation college graduate, Adriana understands firsthand the challenges families can experience when navigating complex systems, particularly when language and other barriers can make accessing support more difficult. These experiences have strengthened her passion for advocacy and her commitment to helping students, families, and community members feel supported, informed, and empowered.

Adriana is passionate about making a meaningful impact through both big and small acts of support. In her role at ASVC, she is excited to combine her educational background, advocacy experience, and passion for serving others to help bridge gaps and connect individuals and families with the resources and services they need. She hopes to help create greater access, understanding, and opportunities for families throughout Ventura County. Outside of work, Adriana enjoys spending quality time with her family and hitting the green fairways—she loves golfing in her free time.
